Coaching Bio
Justin Blaszak is in his second year as Director of Scouting for the Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) and in his third year as Director of Player Development for the California Bears youth hockey organization.
The California native played three years of junior hockey, three years of college hockey, and four years of minor professional hockey in North America and Europe. After retiring in 2018, he dove right into becoming a full time hockey coach. Over the last four years, Justin has had the opportunity to work with, collaborate, and learn from some of the global leaders in player development including: Adam Oates, Darryl Belfry, and Ted Suihkonen. As our game continues to evolve, Justin's approach of being a life long learner is aimed to help better prepare his players for personal success at the next level.
