Coaching Bio
Justin Blaszak is a Level 5 USA Hockey-certified coach with over 15 years of experience in player development, program leadership, and high-performance training. A former professional player in the U.S. and Europe, Justin’s playing career includes stops in the SPHL, FPHL, and Sweden’s Division I. He has worked alongside some of the game’s most respected minds, including Adam Oates, Darryl Belfry, and the NHL Coaches Association. Through his involvement in national events like USA Hockey’s Boys 16U National Camp and global development clinics in Sweden, Justin has shaped his coaching philosophy around up-tempo, disciplined hockey and data-driven development strategies.
As a former Director of Scouting in the NAHL, Director of Player Development for the California Bears, and current Director of Sports Technology for the Carolina Junior Hurricanes, Justin has helped guide players along the USHL, OHL, WHL, NAHL, NCDC, and NCAA pathways. Known for integrating tools like Hudl, Instat, and Power Edge Pro into team and individual training plans, Justin’s coaching environments emphasize performance feedback, video analytics, and technical excellence—preparing players for every step of their hockey journey.
